Spam Maps
inkjet prints in hard cover book (selection of pages above)

Spam Maps was a selection of texts from the email account of Amy Marjoram, collected over the years 2005-2007.

At the bottom of many spam emails are randomly luscious pools of melted sentences. In this language detritus, meaning slips as word that have never met collide. Incorrect spelling that seeps through filters, smatterings of incoherent stories, unpunctuated sentences.
